Plot

The Doctor takes Amy to the distant future, where she finds Britain in space. Starship UK houses the future of the British people, as they search the stars for a new home. But as Amy explores, she encounters the terrifying Smilers and learns a deadly truth inside the Voting Booth.

Smilers are androids which sit in booths across the Starship UK, which took action if a citizen broke the law. Their face expression changes based upon the actions taken by citizens.

Star Whale

Star Whales are giant whale-like creatures. The last Star Whale in existence comes to offer help to transport Britain to a new home, but the Government take charge and torture the creature unknowing that it offers help.
